MX10 silence brake debugging(No spring brake KM1341022G0X)
Warning
Ensure the car is locked. Adjust one brake each time.
1.1 Inspection and adjust the gap

Use the KONE brake open tool to open the brake |

To test the gap between the brake shoe and the brake drum surface of sheave by glide of the feeler Gap(A)must be 0.15 to 0.19mm
For example: If the gap is 0.5mm,then remove the 0.35mm shim。 And check the gap again |
Any time, the 1.5mm shim can not be used(after calculation, 1.3mm is the maximum tolerable)
Where the gap is most narrow,is not the value. |

Adjust the shim quantity 1. Tighten the center nut to make the machine sheave touch with the brake magnet. 2. Loose the fixed bolt. 3. Replace the shim as required. |

Use the torque spanner with setting of 45Nm to tighten the fixed bolt。If you do not have a torque
spanner,then
use a spanner(length
between 170mm to 210mm), Use the force equivalent to 30kg. |
Tighten the bolt in an intersecting way
|

Open KONE electric adjustment brake device |

Loose the center nut(1) |
|
7 |
Use KONE electric adjustment brake device to operate the brake several
times |

8 |
Test the brake gap while the KONE electric adjustment brake device is
open |

Close the KONE electric adjustment brake device after test |

Repeat the brake adjust steps until the gap is correct |

Loose the center nut(1). Big shim(2)must be a little loosen and can be turned manually. The gap between center nut and shim must be 0.5mm or less. |

Fix the left shims on the brake. |
Make sure they are fixed very well. |

If the brakes are not inspected, check the other brake. |
Adjust if needed. |
